We do not sell teaching
When a bhikkhu gives a Dhamma talk to your group, no part of your payment reaches him for it. Teaching in this tradition is given, not sold, and a monk who is paid to teach is in an impossible position. What we do instead is offer dāna — the meal, the requisites, the temple's costs — which is how lay Buddhists have supported the Saṅgha for two and a half thousand years. You will be shown how to make that offering yourself.
